Role Description The Assistant Human Resources Officer will support daily HR operations in a part-time, remote capacity. Responsibilities include assisting with implementation of HR policies, supporting employee relations, and maintaining accurate HR records and documentation. The role involves helping to develop and update job descriptions, coordinating recruitment activities, and supporting onboarding processes. The Assistant Human Resources Officer will also assist in addressing HR-related inquiries, ensuring compliance with company procedures, and collaborating with other team members to promote a positive and inclusive work culture.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Human Resources (HR) and HR Management, with the ability to support day-to-day HR operations.
• Knowledge of HR Policies and basic compliance requirements, including the ability to help implement and communicate guidelines.
• Experience or training in Employee Relations, with skills in conflict resolution, communication, and supporting staff needs.
• Ability to contribute to Job Description Development, including drafting and updating role profiles and responsibilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage time effectively, and handle confidential information with integrity.
• Proficiency with standard office productivity tools and HR-related software or systems.
• Formal education in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; relevant certifications are an added advantage.
