Role Description The Social Media Manager is a part-time, remote role based in Lilongwe Malawi. This role involves planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms to increase brand awareness and drive engagement. The Social Media Manager will monitor and respond to comments and messages, manage social media calendars, and collaborate with internal teams to support marketing campaigns and promotions. Daily tasks include analyzing performance metrics, optimizing posts and strategies, and staying updated on social media trends relevant to Zamsell ’s target audience. The role also involves ensuring consistent brand messaging and maintaining a professional online presence for the company.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong Social Media Marketing and Social Media Optimization (SMO) skills for managing and growing social platforms.
• Candidates should possess solid Content Strategy and Writing skills to plan and create clear, engaging posts and campaigns.
• Candidates should possess effective Communication skills to interact with customers online and coordinate with internal teams.
• Relevant experience managing social media accounts for brands or organizations is beneficial.
• Familiarity with social media analytics tools and basic knowledge of digital marketing principles is an advantage.
• Ability to work remotely, with strong time management and organizational skills.
• A diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
